Arun

Co-Director | Mental Health Nurse

Arun is a Mental Health Nurse and Co-Director of Mindhelp, holding a Master of Mental Health Nursing.

Arun has been a Registered Nurse since 2008. He brings extensive experience across forensic, emergency, acute Inpatient and community mental health settings, with a strong focus on supporting people experiencing homelessness, complex trauma, and psychosocial disadvantage.

Before co-founding Mindhelp, Arun worked in forensic and emergency mental health services, where he provided acute assessment, crisis intervention, and recovery-focused support to individuals at high risk. He also worked as Team Leader in a Dementia unit, Senior Recovery Clinician within homeless outreach programs, delivering frontline mental health care and helping reconnect individuals to essential supports and treatment pathways. His advanced clinical knowledge, leadership, and commitment to social inclusion underpin Mindhelp’s reputation as a trusted provider for people with complex mental health and behavioural needs.

Rory

Co-Director | Mental Health Nurse

With over 20 years of experience across emergency, forensic, and community mental health, Rory brings deep clinical expertise and strong leadership to Mindhelp. His career spans senior clinical and operational roles in Australia and abroad, where he has led multidisciplinary mental health teams across immigration health programs in remote Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Nauru.

Rory has extensive experience in emergency mental health, providing acute assessment and crisis intervention for individuals presenting to emergency departments and community crisis teams. He has also worked within forensic mental health and correctional environments, supporting people with complex psychiatric and behavioural needs while ensuring safe and therapeutic care. His ability to combine clinical expertise with operational leadership has been central to Mindhelp’s growth and reputation for quality, compassion, and professionalism.

Rebecca

Senior Mental Health Nurse

Rebecca brings extensive experience across both acute psychiatric inpatient care and community mental health case management. She has worked in roles requiring advanced clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support for individuals with complex mental health and psychosocial needs.

Her background includes several years in acute psychiatric settings, where she delivered high-quality nursing care, facilitated therapeutic group programs, and frequently acted in leadership capacities overseeing ward coordination and multidisciplinary care. Her earlier nursing experience includes roles in oncology, haematology, palliative care, and reproductive health, providing her with a strong foundation across both general and specialist nursing. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, and is currently completing a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary). She is known for her compassionate, evidence-based approach and her commitment to delivering individualised, recovery-focused support that promotes dignity, empowerment, and long-term wellbeing.

Fenia

Practice Manager | Occupational Therapist

Fenia is an accomplished Occupational Therapist and the Practice Manager of Allied Health Services at Mindhelp, with over a decade of experience supporting children and adults across paediatric, mental health, and community rehabilitation settings in Australia and overseas. Fenia had successfully ran her own NDIS-registered Occupational Therapy Practice, providing high-quality functional assessments, sensory & motor interventions and capacity-building supports tailored to each participant’s unique goals. At Mindhelp, Fenia oversees a growing team of dedicated therapists, ensuring clinical excellence, collaborative practice, and compassionate care. Known for her calm leadership, deep clinical insight, and person-centred approach, she is committed to helping individuals build independence, confidence, and meaningful daily lives, whilst continually fostering innovation and excellence within Mindhelp’s allied health division.

Almas

Team Leader – Occupational Therapist

Almas is an experienced Occupational Therapist and Team Leader at Mindhelp, dedicated to helping individuals achieve greater independence and quality of life through practical, evidence-based interventions. She brings strong clinical expertise across functional assessments, assistive technology, and home modifications, ensuring each participant receives high-quality, person-centred care. With a background spanning both Australian and international practice, Almas has worked extensively with participants presenting complex physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. She consistently upholds NDIS and clinical governance standards through a commitment to excellence in assessment, documentation, and service delivery. At Mindhelp, Almas leads the delivery of occupational therapy services, supports professional development within her team, and ensures every participant receives tailored, goal-oriented support. Her leadership, compassion, and clinical expertise make her an integral part of Mindhelp’s allied health division.

Sean

Occupational Therapist

Sean is an Occupational Therapist at Mindhelp who brings a modern, evidence-based approach to therapy, focusing on helping participants build independence, confidence, and meaningful daily routines. Having completed a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice, he applies strong clinical reasoning and a goal-oriented, strengths-based framework across diverse participant needs. Before becoming a clinician, Sean worked for several years as a Senior Disability Support Worker and Team Leader, supporting people on the autism spectrum and those with complex psychosocial and forensic presentations. Sean has a natural ability to build rapport with children, often bringing joy and engagement into sessions — sometimes even pulling out his guitar for a singalong. His passion for mental health, approachable nature, and commitment to quality practice make him a valued part of Mindhelp’s growing allied health team.

Louise

Care Coordinator

Louise brings over 15 years of experience in the community and social services sector. She has extensive experience supporting individuals with complex psychosocial needs and justice involvement. Louise spent more than a decade with The Salvation Army, where she held senior case management and leadership roles across programs including Youth Justice Community Support Services (YJCSS) and the Leaving Care Program. In these positions, she provided intensive outreach and case management to young people transitioning from the justice and child protection systems into independent living. Louise has also contributed to the sector at a governance level, having served on the Board of Management with Georgina Martina Inc (Women’s Refuge). She holds a Diploma in Community Welfare, a Certificate IV in Alcohol & Other Drugs and a Certificate IV in Community Services. Louise is known for her compassionate and practical approach. As Care Coordinator, she works collaboratively with participants, families, and teams to ensure that Mindhelp’s supports are well-coordinated, person-centred, and responsive to each individual’s needs.

Ashley

Service Coordinator

Ashley brings a strong background in both operations management and disability support to her role as Service Coordinator at Mindhelp. Before entering the disability sector, Ashley worked in operations management for a major national company, where she developed her expertise in compliance management, people management, and administrative coordination. She later completed a Certificate IV in Disability, gaining hands-on experience supporting people with complex needs and assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities. At Mindhelp, Ashley supports the day-to-day operations of our services, assists with staff rostering, and provides frontline support to ensure smooth coordination across our teams and Supported Independent Living homes. Her practical knowledge, reliability, and compassionate approach make her a valued member of the Mindhelp team.
